This time it was my blackberry. It happened while I was attempting a software upgrade. Sometime during the usual process, an error came up on the computer screen and then the phone's display turned white and refused to work no longer. Its taken 4 hours to reload software, and another 3 hours to get the phone's features back to where I like them
There was a major casualty in all this. My phone book of contacts was well maintained but not backed-up. I didn't have to start completely over , but it was close.
